*"OUR FUTURE OUR DESTINY"* By: Olafimihan

We have been marginalized and intimidated by leaders who perpetuate injustice, our future and destinies have been messed up with. Where are the comrades who worked for justice and development, let pick up the baton and ride in the same platform of honor. We are taking our destiny back with fire and all forces, the gong of war has started,it is time to shape our destiny the way it suppose to be.

It time to fix our problem,we are tired of chewing the insensitivity of the government and swallowing ignorance and stupidity, we are tired of the quagmire that rock our environment. Do u think we just have to keep looking? We are taking the risk, we shall all move around with our fellow comrades to dispose all traitors and stupid leaders, we are not joking, the gong and song of war have started,we are ready to overthrown bad political precedence.

Dele Momodu said and I quote "Many of our youth are world class. They have conquered the world and are flying high like eagles but back home the demon of democracy are making it impossible for the eagles to soar in the skies". We have gotten to the junction, no going back,we are not in for a kindergarten or masquerade dance. We are in the moment of preparation and pro active response, we must overthrown trouble makers and epileptic leaders. The drama has started,we are tired of watching our fellow comrades who are suppose to collaborate with us acting as puppets, assassin, political thugs and postulate idiot for the so called leaders.

We are ready to face any government at the helm of our affairs, some people rant saying physical struggle (ALUTA) is dead,we are bringing it back to life,we all say we want to be like *comrade Segun Okeowo, comrade Ralph Aregbeshola, comrade Abimbola Daniyan, comrade Egbeleke Aderopo Ayodele,Late comrade George Akinyemi Iwilade a.k.a Africa(O.A.U),comrade Tunde Oke* to mention a few but we stay indoor waiting patiently that things would change. The truth is that if we leave our destinies with them, they would shatter it completely while they have their mansions abroad.

Our future have been corrupted, let all join this struggle until we fulfill our heart desire. We are saving Nigeria Tertiary Educational system,we are liberating ourselves from debris of perpetrated marginalization,we are overthrowing puppet and stooges who have molded the empire of demons and we can't succeed without calling other comrades from different parts of the country to join the struggle because if we don't face this now it would become the unending doom of our life time.

Painful letters By: Marvee

Every time I feel this way This terrifying kind of pain These twitchy palms and muffled sobs These weakened sights and mindless slob I would think of something To put me at ease, anything At times, to leave my world And be someone else, not a dud Often times I would write on plain sheet Write till my limbs felt weak Write till the page is covered in ink Write till the painful times shift.                                              ©-Marvee

The So Called Queen By:Salawu Olubunmi

_The so called queen of the zanger A woman of misery and deceptive appearance Wags tongue in a swordlike How angelic she be when seeking the honey frm it's comb With her romantic but deceitful display The first sight of her left me in dismay First encounter with her was heartrending Such a sweet poison A devil in disguise wit an angelic face The so called queen can neither be embraced nor avoided.

THE GCE GIRL By: OLUSEGUN AKINSANYA

Every year we welcome into our community several teenagers between 13 and 17 from far and near. They are both male and female. They have the same mission. They have come to write General Certificate Examination (G.C.E). Most of them are penultimate students in secondary schools. These little fellows have been fixed at centres nearby to write their exams and the people that brought them have accommodation as part of the payment agreement. Some of these children are leaving home for the first time. Some of them look like mom's pets. Immediately they hit the town, you see a lot of ambiance and noise, something like a carnival. They make noise in the morning while looking for water for domestic use and in the evening when they are back from their different centres. It's always a new experience for most of them, and they seem to enjoy it: yea, they seem to enjoy being away from home for a whole month, a kind of escape from the eagle eyes of their parents; they seem to enjoy a t...
