THE BOMBARDED FALLACY. (PASTORS, THE AUTHORS OF CONFUSION IN CHRISTIANITY.) Episode 2 By: Abdulkabeer ibn Tijani.

For quite some time now, a lot of controversies and criticisms has evolved in the Nigerian churchscape as regards false doctrines especially, the issue of tithe. There's no doubt, doctrines that have no biblical origin  and are feasibly unrealisable must be outrightly dispelled. It is in the light of this that some lingering questions surfaced on my mind and they all seem to put a question mark on the claim of Christians believing they're one body in Christ. Very quickly, let's take a look at the factors that made me to come to this weird conclusion. Pastor WF kumuyi, pastor DK olukoya and the Jehovah's witnesses  believes Christmas is a pagan tradition, so it's not celebrated in their Churches. Whereas pastor E.A Adeboye of the RCCG,  pastor David Oyedepo of living faith church, and millions of pastors around the world readily embrace and celebrate Christmas. Also, unlike other bibles, the Jehovah's witness Bible has the word "God" replaced with...

Your cane is tough But your cuddle is not enough Your slap is certain But your hug can't move a mountain. Your anger is an heater But your smile is so bitter. Your time is a snow But your might is a row. Yea!!! BOMBSHELL! - DR IYABO RESPONDS TO HER FATHER'S LETTER TO PMB - A MUST READ!

Open Letter to Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo Written by Iyabo Obasanjo, DVM, PhD It brings me no joy to have to write this but since you started this trend of open letters I thought I would follow suit since you don’t listen to anyone anyway. The only way to reach you may be to make the public aware of some things. As a child well brought up by my long-suffering mother in Yoruba tradition, I have been reluctant to tell the truth about you but as it seems you still continue to delude yourself about the kind of person you are and I think for posterity’s sake it is time to set the records straight. I will return to the issue of my long-suffering mother later in this letter. Like most Nigerians, I believe there are very enormous issues currently plaguing the country but I was surely surprised that you will be the one to publish such a treatise. I remember clearly as if it was yesterday the day I came over to Abuja from Abeokuta when I was Commissioner of Health in Ogun State, specifically...

THE ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE THE WINNERS AND THE LOSERS By Olaniyi Adeoluwa

Having witnessed the round 24 of the English premier league, we pick up the winners and the losers from this round. WINNERS The Manchester Clubs. The Blue and Red half of Manchester both escaped this round with a victory with Manchester city winning more comfortably with club top scorer Sergio Kun Aguero grabbing an hat-trick in the 3-1 demolition of Newcastle at the Etihad on Saturday, this victory keeps them comfortably top of the log seating 12 point above second place Manchester United, this victory comes after they tasted their first league defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield last time out. With all of the positivity that comes with the imminent arrival of Arsenal Star Alexis Sanchez, Manchester United although dominant had to wait until the 54th minute when Romelu Lukaku cross field pass was met with a composed finish from Anthony Martial, the initial struggle before the winning goal shows exactly why the Red Devils are so hot in the pursuit of the Chile Inter...

WHAT IS CATTLE COLONY?

The stories of Zamani Lekwot and Col. Yohanna Madaki. Cattle colony is not a new thing in Nigeria. It has existed long before independence and it is called Zango. Zango has existed in many areas of Yoruba land. Till today, there is Sango Otta, the home country of our former president. Sango is a corruption of Zango.   There is Zangon Kataf in Zonkwa, Kaduna State. When the Fulani's came there, they did not tell the natives that they were coming to settle. They just asked for a small land by the market as shed to sell cattle. This was granted them.   The Fulani's soon gained entrance into Kafanchan town and before long, they turbanned one of themselves and addressed him, Emir of Jemaa. Jemaa in Hausa means, ALL. When the natives raised eye brow, they said the empire was going to be their own king, not the Kafanchan people.   During the military, the Southern Kaduna people got a local government with the name, Jemaa Local Government. Later, Zonkwa got a separate...

RAPE By: Apeke

Oh! I lost my unrecovered beauty To a gritty guilty I left my pedestal For a sorrowful festal My courage becomes a comestible forage. Who's to be blamed? You or me? You,indeed! You,who unlocked the maiden's teeth With your stinking sheath Who turned beauty to filthy And filthy to ashes. I blame you! I glanced at your foot But you focused on my boob When I tried to caution You made a dunction Alas! Your organs malfunction. Recall, please recall! You bid a fare- bye I gave a bye But you never looked by You unveiled my shell Like an unriped jell Please, go to hell. Selfish Lad Aren't you mad You spoilt my physique Adding in my cup a dizzy physic Yet the society praises you Calling you a man You're nothing but a can That you feel nature You deserve a torture Your sheath worths a rupture Your body into a deep puncture. ©Apeke War against rape

LIFE IS NOW By: Isa Abass Usman

______ANALIZER WRITES_____ Time flies, and memories fade. People change and new friendships are made. Only the true remain forever at our side. Eventually the disappointment and pain will subside. It is all about the journey and what has yet to come. Life is what you make of it; you are what you've become. Life is too short to hold onto regrets. Forgiveness is key even though you may never forget. Cherish the good and remove the bad. Some people don't realize till it's gone what they've had. Moving on is a way of life. There will always be obstacles, pain, and strife. You must believe that you are strong enough to fight. You have to believe in yourself to do what is right. Always do for YOU no matter what you do, Because in the end the only one who has your back is you. Never be afraid to take a stand, And always be willing to lend a helping hand. A little bit goes a long way. All it takes is a smile to brighten someone's day. Your chan...

THE TWO PEOPLE I FEAR! By: Extradallenum Olusegun Akinsanya

I fear two set of people. Anywhere I go, or any association I belong to, I watch out for these two people. Immediately I see these two people, I switch on my red button, I place my heart pulse on red alert. From that moment on, I watch carefully what I do or what I say. The first of these two dangerous elements is someone who had failed and too despondent to pick up the pieces of his misfortune and try again. Rather he sucks, blames his environment or other people apart from himself and develop a negative mindset. Since he has failed and didn't learn anything from that failure, rather envies people who succeed and tries to drag them down to his level. Such a person can kill. He has cancer in his soul. That cancer is called envy. Cain eliminated his brother Abel because of this. When I see an envious person, who can't achieve what I aspire to, but stands in the way, then I intensify prayers. No one is safe in the hand of someone who wants what you want in life, but couldn...

Why I stand with Buhari By: FEMI ADESINA

These are very difficult times in our country. Sad, mournful and dolorous times, as the New Year opened with killings in Rivers, Kaduna, Taraba, and Benue states, among others. Of course, there had been gruesome carnage on the Mambilla plateau mid last year, and bloodletting in Numan, Adamawa State, as well as in other places. Hell suddenly seemed to have enlarged itself against Nigeria. Sincere condolences to those who are grieving and mourning the loss of loved ones. But instead of finding solutions, and joining to chart the way forward, some people are making political capital out of the killings. They are trying to use the orgy of bloodshed to advance their political interests, wanting to make it appear that it is a failure of the Muhammadu Buhari administration. Faults are thick where love is thin. There is prejudice in Nigeria. Plenty. There is insularity, in prodigious quantity. There is animus, antipathy against anyone that is not of your ethnic or religious stock, or t...

Love Passed me by - A Dirge (Part 2) By: Balogun Fatimah

In my little shanty, The fire burnt my temples.  Relishing pains of the past, Which brought bitter sobs to my frail eyes. I relinquished my ultimate vigor. I loved them all. Adépítàn can testify to the haven of peace, We shared while the ligatura was puissant. The symphony of prismatic memories we created. He knows how soft hearted I am, And how I anticipated his desires every Nightfall. What else can love demand? For every forced solitude, I tried to pinpoint my mistake. Through the racking, No answer showed it's radiance. They say,  The flavor of life is Love, The salt of life is Love, Why am I abjured of all these? Perhaps, I was never born lucky to have a virtuous lover.  I felt an immense fatigue that engulfed my soul, A fear that submerged my psyche. Fear of having grey strands without a mate, Nor a buddy to call mine. How I wished to be galvanised, By the aura of love. But thy hast been unlucky, With love. For it leaves you shat...

RESPECTING THE PRIVATE SPACE By: Akinsanya Olusegun

I am a Yoruba from the western part of Nigeria. We were brought up to be conscious of the invisible web that binds everyone in the same family or the same village together. We are taught the importance of the mystical earth we all make our living from, the significance of the community stream we all drink from and the potency of the ancestral bloods that flow in our blood streams.  We grew up with the consciousness of being relatives or distant acquaintances to people in the same indigent communities. We refer to elderly men as fathers and elderly women as mothers. What of our senior neighbours? We call them brother So and So, and sister So and So. We call our school teachers, uncles and aunties. We are fixed in a brotherhood cocoon and relationship matrix. As good as that communality is, there is a generational flaw that had bedeviled this practice. We hardly respect individuality or the right of an individual to be himself. It seems as if the right to be oneself is subsum...

CAREFREE By: Isa Abass Usamn

Young, carefree, innocent You sing, laugh and dance Taking in all God's glory At every single chance. Grown up You ignore the wonders that you cherished as a child Gone is the carefree, honesty and mild. You walk around with blinders on, Into the race of money and greed. Not caring who gets hurt Just to fulfill your selfish needs. Stepping over the line of morals to have wealth and material things Ignoring all God's gifts Like the first rain in Spring Keep that little child inside! Hold her close to your heart, We're only here for a brief time Then with this world, we must part For a moment each day It's OK to get silly to laugh and dance. Take in all God's glory At every single chance. ©ANALYTICAL ANALIZER Artwork By; Gozie.o

Not your feelings By: Salawu Olubunmi

I found myself amidst the people, Had to join the scramble, Just to get a nibble, From the very Apple. Oh no wat can I do to avoid this desperation, All i wanted was ur admiration, From ur appreciation, But all I could see now is depreciation, This as to end! I just can't be in frustration. This can't be your feelings, Please I need some healings, This is just too much for my dealings. Go with ur bitches, I wanna be left with my mitches, Coz I refuse to take it as your feelings. ©Salawu_Olubunmi Painting By; Adejumo Olusegun

Love Passed me by - A Dirge (Part 1) By: Balogun Fatimah

Fascinated by her high pitched voice, That resounded through the ceilings. Like the chants of the chromatic birds, That sang melodious tune on the Khaya tree. Such a jolly, I envied. The fella in the antithetical direction, Made me lost my breath. He sat straight with an air of cleanliness, That oozed out of his physique. I drooled under his tender velvety eyes. I envied their love, but I was never fortunate Love is not as it is known, Some get drowned, Others get throttled, While the larger part sulk in anguish. We are the result of a stalled affinity. Love is a shrewd needle, That passed a pound of bane, Into my gaiety body in a passionate way. Poisoning the remnants of hope, That kept me waiting. In the rassle of love, One does not seek appointment with dysphoria. It comes like the lucid sunshine, Rising with piety and surprises, To waffle you out of prospects. Ill-fated love breeds contempt, It procreates a throe when fudged on. The path of love...

POETRY REIGNS By: Akano O. David

Poetry reigns, Though not like the morning rains Which the elders say it is one designed for the feeble hands. Poetry reigns, Though never like the evening rains Which soothe the pained ground at night But remains nothing but wet shadows at cock-crows. Oh yea! Poetry reigns It reigns here in my world Poetry reigns here in our world It is the water we drink, the food we eat, the cloth we wear... Even the air we breath So tell me, should we not celebrate our celebrity? Yeeeaaa!!!.. once more we shall come together and celebrate POETRY. ©AkanoDavid Artwork By; Olatoye David

A tour of the Friend zone By: E. D. Oghre

Hello and welcome to the friendzone My name is E. D one of the princes of the friend zone and I will be your tour guide. But first Let me give you a brief history of the friend zone. The friend zone is as old as Friendship itself. It started the first day a man and woman became friends and has existed since then. The friend zone has its hand in a lot of major historical events like the second World War. If you doubt me just do a deep research into the life of Adolf Hitler and am sure you will be very surprised to see that he was friend zoned by a Jewish girl sometime in the past. Over here you can see the foolish guys who are still trying to get out of the friend zone, but as you can see they all fail.  Feel free to take pictures of the next once failure .(shakes my head sadly) Okay lets move on, as you see the friend zone cuts across all religions, tribes and nationality. So of the most successful spiritual leader all developed from the friend zone. Some pastors, pries...

Gently By: kingsleywrites

"Gently " she said with a smirk,                     Her hips lost it's bearing                    upon the feel of my palms.              The pleasure became unimaginable,                               lost in lust,             Fading away into each other's eyes.     She began to encrypt the writings of pleasure         Upon my spine,  For her mind raced away         from the comet like collision of our lips.   "Can't have enough" This wanting words slowly                             crept into my ears.      It Seemed like her soul fled from her body           ...

The Nigeria of my Dream By: Mayowa Odewoye

When you hear New Delhi, what comes to your mind? It means there was an old Delhi. The New Delhi did not come by mere wish or by fantasy. The New Delhi we see is a result of change in mind and attitude of the people of Delhi. It is a result of change in actions and approaches by the people of Delhi. We want a Paradise Nigeria yet we employ the old and same approach, we want a Jerusalem in Nigeria yet we choose to be in our comfort zones. We want a New Nigeria yet we use the old cabals with archaic mind and selfish interest. We choose to be complacent when it is time to elect. Some are lured with stomach infrastructure package. Dino Melaye in his definition of greediocracy, Nigeria as a case study said " it is government by the greedy for the greedy and to the greedy" he further said " We leaders want to win election at all cost, so we spend money to win. The followership is also greedy, they accept money to vote" while admitting that the present leaders of t...

The Bombarded Fallacy (Episode 1) By:Abdulkabeer.B.

I keep ruminating and pondering my mind on this several times. why is it that when people hear the phrase " ALFA " the impression that comes up is placing debauchery tag on them, seeing them as the worst set mankind and raising curses on them but however there are still few of them that are still trustworthy, speaking the truth and guiding the people to the right path but the bad eggs has made people think all is spoilt.  Well,I blame not the people because if we look at the world at large today, the greatest havoc is coming from from the religion sector. Religious leaders have shy away from preaching the truth and trying to change our orientation, whereas they are supposed to be seen as the flashlight to get closer to our creator. It is appalling to see the service to the very sound doctrines espoused by the holy Quran. Also,it is more fearsome to see thousands of followers who are blindly lost, brainwashed and lured in the ensuing drama.  In respect to this, the so...

THE RAPE OF A PEOPLE By: Akinsanya Oluwasegun

One peculiarity about African culture was that it encouraged communality. We seemed to enjoy being together, taking collective decisions and doing things in common. That was before we were raped by the Europeans. The present generation are the hybrid offsprings produced by that exploitation. Here we are in our current state, swinging between the old time communality and the newly infused individualism. What we practice now, is neither a perfect expression of either of the two nor a perfect mix of both. The Africa we read about in the history books was the Africa where people ate together under the dull moon; and young girls with little apples run around innocently with boys of their age without any form of fear. Everyone seemed to have something in common. Everyone seemed to trust each other. Farm produce were placed on the pathways for days without any fear; the farmer was sure of picking them up as intact as he left them...Gone were those days. The world that the slave trade ...

THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL ARENA AND ITS UNENDING FALLACIES By: Shotunde Oladimeji

_This article is a long one but trust me, it is loaded with meaning._ The 2019 elections is fast approaching and politicians are already in their usual business of trying to woo unsuspecting electorates with their unending promises. This has been the norm right from the inception of democracy in the Nigerian political sphere. An average Nigerian would, in the normal practice, be convinced to vote for an aspirant with incentives like a mini bag of Rice and a litre of groundnut oil. These are the almost-usual prerequisites for any Nigerian politician to get himself or herself into office. The question is:  "How long are we going to keep doing this?". *The Nigerian political landscape is a cycle where everything revolves and comes back to the same state it started off from after a period of time.* We have continually seen old and recycled politicians; who have nothing to offer the populace, in the corridors of power over and over again and we seem not to have the kill...

SERVILITY IN 2017 By: Balogun Fatimah

Love abhors all wights. But hatred has partitioned it. Making the foundation shaky. The love that engulfed it, Has been replaced with a burning desire, For detestation for one another. 1807 marked it's end.  2017 upheld it's resurgence. When will Africa be free? When will Africa stand on it's feet, Free for racism and servitude? Free from abhorrence for one another? When will Mama Africa, Stop the show of shame, Exhibited at the Village square. Making her a mockery to other villages. That is not as pretty as she is, Nor as rich as she is. Is it the Ruby that adorned her waist? Nor the Sapphire that graced her plum neck? Or the oil wells that formed a trident circle, At the back of her mansion? Yet, Mama Africa is not satisfied, But defied herself into Slavery. Slavery! Making her an object of ridicule. And a shameless harlot. When you finally regain your consciousness, The damages you have done to your reputation, Cannot be reversed. N...
