HOPE (1) BY: THORPE OLUJIMI

In a state of oblivion, I search for a missing piece in me.

In a state of oblivion, She was my only companion.

In a state of oblivion, She wisperd words that lifted my fading heart.

She gives strength to my fading heart when I hear her voice, Yet it goes dime like a candle in the wind.

She makes my fading heart to reminisce on how she lifted my fading heart in a state of oblivion.

She gives pleasant sounds that gives hope to the hopeless in a state of oblivion.

In a state of oblivion, I searched for my resurrection.

In a state of oblivion, watching and praying.

In a state of oblivion, Her sounds gives me hope that lightened my faded heart.

In her "The musical organ" I find Hope.

Painful letters By: Marvee

Every time I feel this way This terrifying kind of pain These twitchy palms and muffled sobs These weakened sights and mindless slob I would think of something To put me at ease, anything At times, to leave my world And be someone else, not a dud Often times I would write on plain sheet Write till my limbs felt weak Write till the page is covered in ink Write till the painful times shift.                                              ©-Marvee

🌹My Tale (Part 3) By:🌹Sapphire🌹

Mama's call was all I needed to wake me up from my sea of reminiscence, stealthily I walked as my weary feet could carry me and in no distant time I was standing before what I will call "bundle of golden memories", I was dazed by the sight of him, we stared at each other for some seconds then he  roared " bia Chigozie, so you think because you have seen and eaten with oyibo, you have automatically became gold that everybody must come and seek ehh ogbehia" this words came with the same ever bright smile and jovial intonation, without bidding an eyelid I retort, " come ooo whatever you call yourself since when did sand become the mate of gold eeh this son of mazi Okonkwo ,I can see that the spirit of the  animals your father has hunted are already at work in you, better appeal to your chi to pardon you and no put the sins of your father on you" I said smiling. He looked at me with an eye of surprise "we shall see when the drummers roll out the...
