'' IF NATURE'' By: Oluwajimi.j.Thorpe

IF NATURE could be human IF NATURE had a heart IF NATURE was someone’s parent IF NATURE was someone’s child IF NATURE was someone’s sibling IF NATURE was someone’s uncle IF NATURE was someone’s aunt IF NATURE was related to someone IF NATURE could feel, I know it will be in pain IF NATURE could communicate with us, what will it be saying to me and you IF NATURE could have the opportunity to attend our Environmental Conventions and Summit, I wonder what NATURE would say to our so called ‘’WORLD LEADERS’’  If only we can understand that Nature is bleeding If only we could feel NATURE pains If only, If only, If only If only we can treat our ENVIRONMENT the same way we would want someone to treat us, The ENVIRONMENT would be more safe and conducive for all GENERATIONS.   ©OJ Thorpe blog

THE INTERVIEW SESSION WITH KRISTIE-OPE

Over the years, there has been controversies over gender inequality, sexual harassment, female discrimination and so many other issues concerning the female folks.  Ojthorpe Blog was opportune to meet with one of Africa's young female activist KRISTIE OPE, in which she was able to share with Ojthorpe Blog her ideologies and motive for creating the KRISTIE-OPE Foundation in an interview session. YOU ARE POPULARLY CALLED “KRISTIEOPE FEARLESS” THAT SOME HARDLY KNOW YOUR REAL NAME,WHAT’S YOUR REAL NAME AND HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME “KRISTIEOPE’’?  My name is Erinfolami Olajumoke, when the foundation was about to start I couldn't come up with a nice name,   I wanted something catchy and different so I decided to coin KRISTIEOPE from my other names which is Christiana Opeyemi.  CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?  I am a God chaser, and I have passion for young ladies as I believe that they are mostly vulnerable to...

OLODUMARE & ESU BY:Oluwajimi.J.Thorpe

The 57th Inaugural Lecture titled ‘’ESU’’   which   took place in Lagos State University in LASU on Tuesday, 31st January was apparently very interesting and educative exposition ever to be remembered by all LASUites and the community at large. OLODUMARE means GOD, 神 , DIEU , GOTT , DIO , DEUS, الله ESU means devil, satan, 撒旦 , Satana, サタン , Satanás, Сатанa,الشيطان. Esu tagged ‘’THE FREEWILL TO LIVE THE WAY YOU WANT’’ by the speaker. From his standpoint, He NOTED that ‘’ESU IS NOT WICKED/EVIL’’. He NOTED that ‘’IF ESU IS EVIL, THEN IT IS OLODUMARE THAT IS WICKED BECAUSE NO GOOD FATHER WILL MAKE HIS CHILD EVIL’’.   THE SPEAKER WAS JUST TRYING TO TELL US THAT MOST OF US JUST TEND TO BELIEVE WHAT WE WERE BORN AND THOUGHT TO BELIEVE, WE DON’T TEND TO CREATE OUR OWN PARADIGM, PRINCIPLES AND THOUGHT ABOUT INNER THINGS.   This is my own Geophilosophical thought towards the inaugural lecture, OLODUMARE & Esu are both Geographe...

LATEST ON LASUSU SPC SAGA BY:Oluwajimi.J.Thorpe

THE ADVENTURE ALL STARTED WHEN I SAW SOME POST ON @THE POLITICOS WHATSAPP GROUP TITLED :         *Rt. HON. Yekini Ibikunle (The 27th LASUSU Speaker) and his Precarious Adventure to LAHA.* "It's only a fool that will expect to see changes in doing something in the same way" *I strongly condemn in totality the act of the 27th LASUSU Speaker for selling out the union for penny to enrich his pocket.* *_"It is more evil to shield the truth in the face of injustice"._* It is important to inform entire Lasuites that the leadership of the Lagos State University Students Union: Students Parliamentary Council (LASUSU SPC) on 14th of February 2017 visited the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), a visit which was geared towards making LASUSU parliamentarians to observe and get familiar with the proceedings of the State House of Assembly with a view of internalizing the process and procedures of 21st century parliament. No doubt, this was a step in the right ...
