OLODUMARE & ESU BY:Oluwajimi.J.Thorpe

The 57th Inaugural Lecture titled ‘’ESU’’  which  took place in Lagos State University in LASU on Tuesday, 31st January was apparently very interesting and educative exposition ever to be remembered by all LASUites and the community at large.

OLODUMARE means GOD, 神 , DIEU , GOTT , DIO , DEUS, الله

ESU means devil,satan, 撒旦, Satana, サタン, Satanás, Сатанa,الشيطان.

Esu tagged ‘’THE FREEWILL TO LIVE THE WAY YOU WANT’’ by the speaker. From his standpoint, He NOTED that ‘’ESU IS NOT WICKED/EVIL’’.

He NOTED that ‘’IF ESU IS EVIL, THEN IT IS OLODUMARE THAT IS WICKED BECAUSE NO GOOD FATHER WILL MAKE HIS CHILD EVIL’’.

 THE SPEAKER WAS JUST TRYING TO TELL US THAT MOST OF US JUST TEND TO BELIEVE WHAT WE WERE BORN AND THOUGHT TO BELIEVE, WE DON’T TEND TO CREATE OUR OWN PARADIGM, PRINCIPLES AND THOUGHT ABOUT INNER THINGS.

 This is my own Geophilosophical thought towards the inaugural lecture, OLODUMARE & Esu are both Geographers and philosophers with their different ideas, opinions and perspectives to ways things should be done.

 Esu wanted a free celestial society for every celestial being, Esu wanted free will to worship OLODUMARE or not and that was why there was a failed coup which led to the vanishing of Esu and some celestial beings.

 Let me take you back, before the final war started, OLODUMARE  thought about Humanity and it was during this period he created the Earth and Human.

 Some of these celestial beings fell on air, water and land, Esu being the leader of the failing celestial beings had much power to convince Eve to take the forbidden, so that she can understand FREE WILL and Eve did it and gained more WISDOM and told Adam about it and he gained WISDOM, and this made OLODUMARE to turn his back against humanity.

HUMANITY HAD ''WILL'' BUT WE GAINED  ''FREEDOM'' WHEN ADAM & EVE TOOK THE FORBIDDEN, WHICH  GAVE US ''FREE WILL''.

   If you can go back in time you will understand that OLODUMARE & Esu were being worshiped with almost the same thing then.

 Until JESUS THE SON OF GOD came to create that bound back between OLODUMARE and Humanity and brought the New Testament.

The Question is that: WHO DO YOU THINK WILL COME AND JUSTIFY ESU’S PHILOSOPHICAL PRINCIPLE OF ‘’FREE WILL’’?

The Answer is: THE ANITI-CHRIST.

 The inner circle of the world understands the #FREEWILL, that’s why they tend not to see Esu as Evil, but tend to understand that OLODUMARE & Esu are both Geophilosophers stating and demonstrating their own principles/ school of thought.

 Esu led us to the zone of free will, and that’s the major problem we have in the society today, me and you have a choice to make, either to serve OLODUMARE, Esu or not to serve at all.

 Because we gained FREE WILL when the forbidden was eaten, we gained more wisdom to advance and to challenge OLODUMARE, if you don’t  understand we just tend to pollute the Earth by the word DEVELOPMENT/ ADVANCEMENT.

‘’ WE CAN NOT DO WITHOUT DEVELOPMENT BECAUSE OF THE INCREASE IN POPULATION SIZE’’

If you ask me,

ARE WE IN A FREE WILL SOCIETY?

I WILL SAY YES, YES, YES. 

 ‘’THE CORRUPT JUDGES THE CORRUPT’’

‘’THE FREE WILL IS ALL THE CAUSE OF ALL THE DISASTER WE ARE HAVING EVERYWHERE’’

‘’THE FREE WILL IS THE WORLD PROBLEM’’

‘’ESU WANTED HUMANITY TO SEE WHAT IT FEELS TO HAVE FREE WILL TO DO ANYTHING, THAT WAS HOW EVE WAS BEEN CONVINCED’’

 OLODUMARE knows the past, present and future and OLODUMARE understood the principle of FREE WILL, when we have freedom to do anything, we wouldn’t have LAW and there will not be ORDER in any society.

‘’WE DON’T HAVE LAW AND ORDER IN THIS WORLD, BECAUSE THE  THE CORRUPT JUDGES THE CORRUPT’’

‘’OLODUMARE IS A GOD OF LAW AND ORDER’’

                                              IT IS WORTHY TO NOTE

 Even Esu and others, have rules (law & order) they all abide to in their realm.

 Esu cannot be wiser than OLODUMARE.

Esu can never achieve this principle of free will because of ‘’pride’’, and if you are proud, you’ll want people to adore you, because you are more superior to them, ‘’FORCE KICKS IN’’ and in that, means you tend to contradict your principle of free will.

Esu should try and practice the free will principle in his realm, if he tends to maintain law and order with the free will principle in his realm, that means it can work for humanity.
