FINDING PERFECTION IN IMPERFECTION (PART1) By: Oluwajimi.J.Thorpe

Some people just can’t stop judging others. They act like they are spotless, like they are not human and they are without sin. It is time for you to start living your life without looking back to the stones people throw at you. If you tend to stop every time they say one thing or the other, you run the risk of not achieving your purpose in life.

People will surely talk. What you need to do is to CONVERT THEIR GOSSIP TO WHAT MOTIVATES YOU IN LIFE. Let them keep on talking about you, then the forces within your ENVIRONMENT will start working for you if your heart is clean.
They just want you to be perfect in which they are not. They act like they know you. They act like they can read everything on your mind. They just keep JUDGING YOU.

It’s time for you to start thinking outside that circle. You have to grow in life. You have to leave the past because, where there is life, there is HOPE and when there is HOPE there is FAITH and when there is FAITH there would surely be PROSPERITY.
I know you have tried, but you are only human. You are not some supernatural being with super powers. You are made of flesh and blood. YOU CANT BE PERFECT.

The CREATOR created humans to be perfect, BUT when humans ate what was forbidden, we became confused in this World (THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BE PERFECT IS FOR YOU TO FAIL FOR GENERATIONS, BECAUSE WHEN YOU FAIL, YOU KEEP ON LEARNING NEW WAYS/METHODS TO BE PERFECT. BUT SINCE ADAM AND EVE ATE THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT, DEATH WAS GIVEN BIRTH TO AND IT REMAINED INEVITABLE THEREFORE THAT MAN CAN NEVER BE PERFECT).

Painful letters By: Marvee

Every time I feel this way This terrifying kind of pain These twitchy palms and muffled sobs These weakened sights and mindless slob I would think of something To put me at ease, anything At times, to leave my world And be someone else, not a dud Often times I would write on plain sheet Write till my limbs felt weak Write till the page is covered in ink Write till the painful times shift.                                              ©-Marvee

THE GCE GIRL By: OLUSEGUN AKINSANYA

Every year we welcome into our community several teenagers between 13 and 17 from far and near. They are both male and female. They have the same mission. They have come to write General Certificate Examination (G.C.E). Most of them are penultimate students in secondary schools. These little fellows have been fixed at centres nearby to write their exams and the people that brought them have accommodation as part of the payment agreement. Some of these children are leaving home for the first time. Some of them look like mom's pets. Immediately they hit the town, you see a lot of ambiance and noise, something like a carnival. They make noise in the morning while looking for water for domestic use and in the evening when they are back from their different centres. It's always a new experience for most of them, and they seem to enjoy it: yea, they seem to enjoy being away from home for a whole month, a kind of escape from the eagle eyes of their parents; they seem to enjoy a t...
